I have read some other posts on this forum and it seems that quite a few people are asking the same questions about adding MORE speakers to the Passport series of PA systems.

It seems as though Fender isn't listening to it's customers very well...if the majority of the posts are about one subject, then offer what they are asking for on the next series of PA that its released...

I am getting ready to order two additional PA's before the end of this year for the other markets that our company has stores located in...but if the newer versions of these FENDER PA's still don't have the ability to connect more than two speakers easily, then I may have to look elsewhere.

My fender amp from 5 years ago has this ability, so I am at a loss as to why the newer ones don't have this ability?

So, my question is almost the same as the others...other than I have the PD150 and I am looking to get two additional speakers added to the system so that I can cover more area during our shows. I have read that I can only use the jack in the froont and then use powered speakers...but which powered speakers and where do I get them? Does Fender offer these...in the same configuration as the speakers the PD150 comes with?

Please explain in detail as to what I can do....and it would be awesome to have a phone number to talk to somoeone...as I am in Tempe...and I believe that Fender is on Scottsdale?

Thanks for any help offered. My email to Fender support bounced back as an invalid email address

Hi,

Thanks for your message. You can use powered speakers or another Passport system and daisy chain it to your main system. And yes, you will have to use the stereo out to do this. We could develop a system that could power multiple speakers at the same time, but it would cost quite a bit more for a feature that not everybody would use.

We are certainly listening to our customers and we will do what we can to make our customers happy. The current Passport Pro models are a result of many customer requests. Unfortunately, as mentioned we can't add every feature into the Passport systems since it would increase the cost for the end user drastically. Your request is certainly noted though.

Also, since you are in Tempe feel free to give our Consumer Relations department a call at 480-795-7195 and they will be more than happy to help you with any request you have.

Thanks again for your message.

Ken
