Hi,

Which 250 do you have? P-250, PD-250 or PD-250 Plus? Please let me know.

Thanks,
Ken

Hi,

The PD-250 has a Rev/Aux send jack. You can go from that jack to your powered monitors which should be daisy-chained (go from Aux Send to monitor 1 and go from monitor 1 to monitor 2). The Reverb/Aux knobs on the individual channels of the PD-250 determine how much audio is being sent to the Rev/Aux send jack.

Please let me know if this explains everything.

Ken

Hi,

I am not sure what you mean. You connect the two Passport speakers to the speaker outputs on the Passport and the powered monitor speakers to the Rev/Aux jack using a 1/4" cable. These outputs are independent from each other. You don't daisy chain the Passport speakers. They still go to the main outputs as mentioned before.

Hope this helps!

Ken

One jack says MAIN one says MONITOR - so am I to use one each for the main speakers and then the Rev/aux for the monitors?

thanks

Ah, now I see where the confusion is. Leave the Dual/Stereo switch set to Stereo. Connect your powered monitor to the Rev/Aux connector and adjust the amount of signal sent to the monitors with the Rev/Aux knobs on the channels.

Connect your Passport speakers to the Soeaker Out, L to Main and R to Mon. The term Main and Mon is only valid if the Dual/Stereo switch is set to Dual. As I mentioned leave it at Stereo and hook up your monitors as described.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions, and my apologies for the confusion.

Regards,
Ken

When you run a monitor from the Rev/Aux send jack, and use the channel Rev/Aux controls to adjust how much power goes to the monitor, how will this affect reverb in the mains?

Hi Lone Ranger,

Adjusting the Rev/Aux control for each channel will determine the level sent to both the Reverb processor and the Rev/Aux Jack. Therefore, adjusting this control on each channel determines both levels. To control Reverb in the mains, simply adjust the Master Reverb control. Does this answer your question?
