Hi. We've had a Fender Passport P-150 for years, but need to upgrade because our events are getting bigger, and because the batteries are getting hard to find now that they've been discontinued.

I'm looking at the 500 Pro, but I can't seem to find any information on whether it can use batteries as a power input. According to B&H Photo Video (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/6 ... ifications) they do, but they don't know anything about batteries. The manual does not mention batteries.

Can somebody let me know what the situation is? We don't always have access to AC power at our events, so having portable power is critical for us.

Thanks!

Mike

Hi,

You could use a battery with power inverter to power the Passport models. They do not have any dedicated battery input.

Thanks,
Ken

Is there any way to build something like this is a enclosed box? Has anyone ever seen plans for a battery backup?
