This model doesn't have RCA inputs, my question is: is it possible to connect a Technics analog turntable, maybe using an adapter RCA to 1/8'' or 1/4''?

Hi,

To answer your question, you will need a little turntable pre-amp/converter in order for the line inputs to sound right. It's the same as with mixer with no dedicated turntable inputs, plugging in turntables need a special input with a fixed RIAA EQ curve in order to sound right and not thin and tinny. You should be able to find something cheap on the web that you can get that accepts your turntable input and converts it to a line input. Then you can plug that into your stereo inputs using an 1/8" stereo cable or balanced 1/4" TRS cables.

Then you'll be ready to rock the house! ;)

Hi Ken,

thank you so much for your answer!!

I want to connect and play my p-bass, along with old vinyl records, and may-be record it all in flash drive.

So, as far as I understand, I'm gonna need a DI-box to bridge the bass connection, and a phono pre-amp (RIAA) to bridge the turntable.

Seems nice to me!

Already ordered passport 500 pro, just can't wait to rock it!!!

Tks again!

Hey,

Yes, that's correct a DI box for a bass and the turntable pre-amp for your turntable. Enjoy your 500 Pro!
