Just got the Passport 500. Like it very much for acoustic guitar and vocals. also Fender strat though a vamp2 sounds good through the Passport. Would it be ok to play a bass through this PA?

Hi,

Glad you like the 500 Pro. Yes, if you're using a Bass please make sure to use a DI box with a Hi-Z 1/4" input that you plug your bass into and a Lo-Z balanced XLR output that you can then plug into the mic channel of the Passport.

Hope this helps!

Ken

Thanks for the info. Could I plug the base into the V amp 2 and from there into the Passport?

Hello Ken,

I have the Fender Pro 300.

I would like to play a guitar and bass through the PA, what would be the best way to set this up. Would I need accessories ?.

Is it possible to connect a CD player into the PA to play backing tracks.

Thank you,
Ian

You need a direct injection box as previously stated or what we do is have a separate bass amp and if we need it any louder we mic the bass amp up to the PA.
