I was wondering if anyone has hooked one of these up to a power inverter i have just bought the passport 500 pro and and wanted to be able to play a live show on the side of the street ive looked at many inverters and was wondering if i should be using modified sine wave or pure sine wave inverter?? or is that dc/dc converter fender offers good to use for the same application? as i heard about it on one of the other forum topics but it was for the old pd 250 and i cant find anything about it on the fender website

actually i did end up hooking it up to just a modified sine wave inverter and a deep cycle battery and it runs just fine with minimal humming (you can just barely hear it if your ear is right to the speaker with nothing playing and the volume cranked) of course if you got the money add a 0 at the end of the price tag for a pure sine wave inverter and that will take the humming away but it works great i got it hooked up in the back of my jimmy and do roadside live shows outside of concerts and bars sell some cd's and all is well and one battery lasts roughly 5hrs

What a cool setup!

You're running it with the sub as well these days right?
