My Passport system is molded plastic and snaps together into a single 'luggable' unit. At times I like to separate the pieces for transport - and find it is hard to get a grip on the rounded plastic speakers. Not sure about limitations of molded plastic. Has anyone attached handles to speakers? Do screws hold? Glue? Double back or Velcro tape? The weight is just the one speaker. Thanks

Any handle must be fit with screw and nut.
Never with glue or tape or velcro

I'm curious about which model of Passport you have. The two that I had and two of the three current models already have handles built into the top of the front face of the speakers. Your fingers go into the oval-shaped indent there and your thumb goes into the part of the latch at the top of the speaker case.

Thanks!!!

Dont know if I am too old and weak but pinching that handle doesnt feel like a secure grip and I end up using two hands and making an extra trip.

PS - I tried an epoxy and it did not hold the plastic. Next suggestion was to take off the front and use screws and bolts which I am sure would work - I just worry about introducing rattles with the screens and bolts. Also strolled Home Depot for some kind of clothespin clamp or grip that would grab the indents with the weight of the speaker holding the clamp but so far no go.

I used those handles for years on a Passport 300 Pro and a Passport 500 Pro, typically carrying both speakers at once. I don't see your point about it not being a secure grip.

You don't just hook your fingers in the slot and do nothing with your thumb. You press your thumb against the top of the speaker, far enough from the top edge to get a secure grip. Unless whichever model you have is radically different from the two Passports I had, it ought to give you a functional grip without having to modify the speakers.
