IMO parts are available, you need to have sone skill in electronics.
Try to clean it first.

Or turn pot at least 10 times, amp at OFF

There's a product called "Tune-O-Wash" that cleans out potentiometers:

https://www.amazon.com/Chemtronics-Tun- ... B001DPOM1E

You spray it on, then crank the control back and forth a few times.

This works great while the problem is contamination or corrosion. Eventually, the pot becomes worn, and then replacement is the only option. If you've never used Tune-O-Wash, give that a shot. If it works, great. You saved time and money. If it doesn't work, you didn't waste much time or money.

If you've never done electronic repair work before, you probably want to find a pro to replace the pot. Look for local electronic repair shops or contact stores where you could have bought the Passport in the first place.

Best of luck with this.

Thanks for the replies. Is there anyway to get at the pot or is pulling the knob as close as I'm gonna get?

You have to spay from inside the amp, not by removing the knob. This is too easy.... :lol:
Spray from the front ( shaft ) do not do the job. Stuff will not go inside the pot.

The pot body should have some hole to spray contact cleaner. Some pots are sealed :(

Use only contact cleaner write " safe for plastic ".
This one is the better;
