My school has a Bassman amp, and I don't know much about it (nor do I know a whole lot of amp terms) but I do know that it's about 3 feet tall, has two inputs, and a metal, protruding switch (as opposed to most amps I see).

My school's band is small, so guitar and bass are okay in our pep band for the basketball games. We don't get much space, so two amps is pushing it (plus we have to use an extension cord anyway). Since this amp has two inputs, would it be possible/safe to use a bass and a guitar on it at the same time? I'm either using a Precision or a fretless Jazz, and the guitarist is using a Strat.

I should add that there's probably a loose wire somewhere because I have to get the Mids knob on the amp just right to get full sound.

You could plug anything you want in a amp and use all the inputs .

Question is about bass , is this amp use speakers made for bass ???? If not ,at high volume you may damage speakers.

More information about the amp will help . There name on the amp . you see only Bassman ? or what ? Is it a combo or head an speaker cab .

what color is the covering ? Black , blonde , or ...

Any picture

I love the signature of stratele52. I always have trouble to explain myself because of the language and the people don´t have a litle of patience with non english speakers.

Uh, this 3 foot tall old Bassman amp wouldn't happen to look like this?

That would be the Motherlode (or max "barn find") of the year.
