hello, I am new here and would like any expert advice regarding my Rumble 350 which when I turn on the power the light is steady for a few seconds (15-20 secs) then it starts flashing. What can cause this? and how do I fix it?

Thanks in advance

Amp play all the time ?

Check you wall outlet ,power cord . The picture I see show me It is a LED light , it can't burn .

Or it is a bad solder in the amp .

That's rather strange. Do you have the head version or the combo? I have the combo version but never experience anything like that. Then again, I haven't exactly ran it extensively even though I've owned it for a few years. Yeah, changing to another outlet and swapping out the cord, if you can, would be a good idea to test it. If you're not losing volume, then hopefully it's nothing to do with your power for the amp. It could be some sort of short in the light itself. I have an AC power strip that has a flickering on light, but it works fine other than that.

I have just the head not the combo. I bypassed the switch to see if the switch was the problem but it did the same thing. I will try to get another power wire to test it out.

A slight voltage drop from the power cord or wall outlet may dim the LED without loosing volume

Because it is a neon light , not LED. A weak or old neon light may flick

If that flashing is at a regular interval, then to me it sounds like the Icepower board is repeatedly failing its "pre-flight check." Was this head dropped or bumped hard or did anything fall on top of it? Was it stored in a very cold environment and then powered up before it had a chance to come up to room temperature? Was the fan working last time you used the amp? Could be either the board is bad (cracked circuit board etch/trace), or the amp is seeing an improper load such as a speaker with a partially-shorted voice coil due to overheating. Have you tried powering up the amp without a speaker connected? I assume you have, but I thought I'd ask anyway. If the amp still flashes without a speaker connected, I'd say it's time for some warranty work.

I just read that in some other Fender amps (Passports) a flashing or blinking power light in absence of sound means a problem in the power supply. It needs checking out by an amp tech.

Hmmm, well... The "power supply" is actually an integral part of the Icepower board in this case. But this is a good thing, because the fix will be to swap out the entire board for a new one. Easy repair, 1 hour max. My guess is the OEM cost for the board is somewhere between 150 and 200 USD.

We have not heard back from the OP re. my questions, so I gather one of the scenarios I envisioned actually did occur. Or maybe the amp was subjected to a high-vibration environment.

Would be interesting to know what actually is the issue, in case it ever happens to someone else, or myself, since I have one of those amps. That way, you have an inkling of the issue and possible course of action.
