They didn't make it easy to get an entire bands equipment in, and setup. Some of these places were made to accommodate say a guitar, and drummer. Maybe a Vox Continental, or an electric piano. But not both. The Drums got squeezed in somehow.

Yeah, and you didn't have the compact, lightweight gear we have these day, either. I imagine you must have had pretty good upper body strength hauling all of that stuff around all of the time.

I didn't do too bad. And I never challenged for who was Top Dog, or King Of The Hill either. It was heavy, but you had to be smart moving it too.

That's true. If you threw your back out, or gave yourself a hernia, you'd certainly know about that.

Oh, most definitely. Not only you can damage yourself, you can damage it, too.

The three biggest PITA's were Grand Piano's, Baby Grand Piano's, and Hammond B3 Organs.

I think this little Fender goes really well with this Bassman 500. The Ampeg SVT-212AV is easy on the eyes too. Image

I played the Mustang PJ for about an hour. It's a nice short scale. The body / neck is very friendly, a lot better than a Gibson. I'm just too spoiled to liking the fell of Fenders.

The Rumble 500 Combo was the amp I had with the last Mustang PJ, back in mid April to the end of May.
