Don't have the B40 yet, but am wondering: for anyone who has used the xlr out - does it send the dry sound, or the sound with fx?

I have the Mustang II Guitar amp, and really like what can be done with the Fuse software.
Seriously considering the B40 for my bass.

I'm not an owner, but it should be a totally wet send. The Bronco 40 like the Mustangs doesn't really have a 'dry' sound of it's own as you have to pick an amp model and set the tone and chose fx from there. You can call Fender Consumer Relations to be absolutely sure. It's a shame that the Bronco 40 sub-forum doesn't get more traffic, as there are some excellent bass players here that do own them and love them. The Bronco 40 would be the perfect companion to your Mustang for recording or small gigs.

Dear felis,

Thanks for your inquiry. When using the XLR line-out of the Fender® BRONCO™40 the sound that will be output is the sound you're hearing through your speakers or your headphone jack. You have the option of turning off FX's, but as the other forum member stated every preset is an Amp model, which means you would be receiving at minimum the tone of a modeled Amp. I hope this information helps. Please let us know if we can assist you further.

Regards,
