Are We Not Fender Rumble Bassman? Do We Not Rock With The Best Of Them? Fender Mustangs all have official Fender covers. Don't we Rumblers deserve fair treatment from the very company we support with our $$$ & undying devotion?

I doubt that they will produce official covers for any of the V2 models :(

I prefer better quality covers than those thin vinyl things that tear up so quickly. I know lots of you like a big old Fender logo though.

I have bought covers from a lot of different companies including the Fender, Ampeg, Sunn, etc.

First I use custom made covers made by a company called BS COVERS that will make covers for any amp. Recently they changed their name to MDB COVERS. They list lots of stock models on their website but will make a cover for anything. The fabric is ballistic nylon such as used on a gigbag with a rubberized backing. They EMBROIDER the amp model on the cover along with their logo. I have bought several of them. This outfit is SLOW. Allow 2 months for your custom made cover at least. They are made one at a time just for you. Affordable and good protection against dust and rain, less so against bumps.
Their link: http://www.mdbcovers.com/commerce.cgi

Second I have used TUKI foam covers. Tuki foam covers are thick foam padding for your amp. The only downside to a Tuki cover is they make your amp about an inch larger in every direction when covered. The only way to get more protection than a Tuki foam cover is to buy a hard tour case. Tuki also makes vinyl covers which are more affordable. I have never tried their vinyl covers. Tuki is also not a fast proposition.

Tuki foam covers cost more and are bulkier, but offer a lot of bump protection. MDB covers are the ones I'd use for most solid state stuff. Both MDB and Tuki are made in the USA. Tuki covers are made in my old hometown, Charleston SC.

It is my understanding that the Tuki Covers business is for sale as the owner is retiring. Just FYI in case someone is looking to go into the swinging swirling world of making custom amp covers. I hope someone buys Tuki and keeps it going. Good product and good people.

The covers offered by D2F are also pretty roadworthy. Their stock includes covers for most production amps by the major manufacturers and their turnaround time is usually a week or less.

I'd actually love a cover for my Rumble 350 combo, even though they probably wouldn't ever do that, considering they have a new series of those amps. I'd probably just go to an outside source like was posted.

People seem to like Studio Slips. Their prices are reasonable.

They have stock covers for:
  • Rumble 150 Watt Bass Amp
  • Rumble 200W 1x15 Combo
  • Rumble 30 Wedge
  • Rumble 350 2x10 Bass Combo
  • Rumble 410 Cabinet
  • Rumble 500 v3 2x10 Combo
  • Rumble 60 1x12 Combo
  • Rumble V3 1x12 Combo

I almost bought one, but then I found a large enough rem of Softouch by Marlen Textiles and made my own. I did the edges with Sunbrella binding. Looks awesome. You can order cloth from TriVantage.

While I was at it, I made a dust cover for my bass. Works on floor stand or wall mount. So much easier than packing it away after every session.
