Hi everyone,
I was going to purchase a used Fender Pro 800 head today.
I asked to test it & guess what? They lost the power chord.....

It is different then the standard pc type power chord!!

Would anyone have any idea where I can find the info on what chord I would need?
thanx in advance....

Hi,
thanx for the response!
It is a modern amp, unfortunatly it does not take this type of chord, the three pins in the socket on the back of the amp are sideways like ( - - ) not ( l l ) like regular pc type sockets.
take care,

thanks,
I see Amazon.ca have it listed also for $35. +tax & shipping.
I will call Long & Mcqude today & see what they can do since that is where I was going to buy the amp & I have spent a lot of money there over the past 40 yrs.
I must admit though the L&M sales guy in the store was not at all helpful..

yeah, the sales guy claimed he couldn't find the power chord, (he didn't seem that interested in really looking for it either).

I find some L&M's really care about product/customers & some could care less.

There is a L&M in Straford Ont. & they had a new lefty (which I am) U.S.Fender P bass sunburst exactly what I wanted, they bent over backwards for the sale & I didn't even ask for a better price or anything.

Is It a new or second hand amp ? New ; no other amp in the store ? I guess not you won't be here

Second hand : better to try in store before buying .
Ask him, a $50 rebate if no power cord

I talked to L&M They won't discount it anymore.(they are asking 275.)

They ordered a cable from Fender, it will take 3 to 4 weeks.
He said they will hold it for me then I will test it. I will see what happens??

by the way your English is perfect!!
