It is my opinion that the Rumble 75 is the better personal practice amp, but it is just not enough for band use.

The Rumble 150 is the best selling bass combo on the planet with good reason. It is the best sounding bass combo in its wattage class & price range. It has enough watts and moves enough air (volume) for gigging in a live band. $350 brand spankin' new shipped! http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Rumble150/

Since they are the same cost, I would choose a Bronco 40 over the Rumble 75 for practice and very light duty. The Bronco has so many tools for practice and recording. It is an exceptional amp, for what it is. There are times when I miss being able to just dial in an octavizer when I want it. Now I need a pedal but, the 350 is a very sweet baby and is the amp I live with. My Bronco sits forlorn in the garage. I think nice thoughts about it. If there was more space in the studio the Bronco would be there with me and I would plug into it once and awhile and get lost in the possibilities. :D

You could always run the Bronco with the Rumble together. I had the idea of that by eventually getting one of those Roland Cube 120XL bass amps and utilizing it's effects with the added power of the Rumble. I loved the sound of that amp.

Unless you don't have the extra funds, I'd just go all out and get the Rumble 350 combo. I have one and highly recommend it. It too has a head phone jack, for dealing with those pesky individuals who don't appreciate the fine merits of a cranked bass amp. :P But if the Rumble 150 is more your speed, then that should be fine, too. I've read some good things about that amp as well. I went with the 350 just in cast I ever needed the extra horsepower. The funny thing is I have really yet to run it full bore, but I believe it's better to not need it and have it then not have it and need it.
