I got a Rumble 350. Love everything about it, including the carrying case. Exceeds what I would have expected. So far just a good puter speaker system and headphones have been used. Wonderful rich tones. So rich I have cranked the treble more than ever because it just seems to add to the sound without changing the character of the lower harmonics. I hope to have my 15" cab delivered to me next week to hear it through that. I have made an Audacity recording of me noodling around and it sounds great. The class D amplifiers have a tone unlike other SS bass amps I have ever heard. It sets them apart.

Wise choice! It is a lot of tone and boom-boom in a teeny weeny little box. It is deceptively potent. Nobody beats the Fender warranty either. That speaks volumes. If I had to buy a new head right now I'd have a lot of trouble going in another direction than you did.

Thanks to all for the congrats. Hope to hear it through a speaker next week. My guess is sonic sweetness will pour forth from the cabinet. I might need a cigarette afterward.

That's great to hear (no pun intended :P .) If I were to ever go with the bass head route, this would definitely be my top choice!

Got my 15" cab a lttle while ago. Dinner, a shower and massage will come before hooking it up. After the massage I may choose to wait until tomorrow. I will report on the experience as soon as I have it. :D

All I got to say is if you crank the amp and sit on the cab you'll get a massage. LOL. That must be some massage you get there to keep you from trying the new cab!

The massage was scheduled so I was committed to go. First time with the practitioner. I was underwhelmed.

I am liking what I hear through my 15'' cab. This amp doesn't seem to know how to make a bad bass note. The cab is 8 ohms so the full power is not demonstrated, but it is a very nice small club setup. Plenty of full ranged bass output.

This is one seriously good bass amp.

That's a great testimony from a man that knows his tone. I can't wait to get some cabs for mine.

That's great to hear. When you think about it, we've had reports on how that amp sounds through various speaker configurations, with some exceptions (8x10", 2x15", etc.) so far. I imagine the head and the combo probably aren't different, so you can probably add 2x10" cab to the list as well.

I am happy with my decision to go for it and buy the 350 head. My last gig had me bringing my frankenrig into its first performance and I was not happy. Needed an answer.

The position of the camera in this video favors the guitar and the bass is not heard very well. The 350 seems to have a real pop across the tonal palette. The rich bottom, with bass in neutral position lends enough presence in the lower tones that I am moved to boost the treble to the 3 o'clock position. This brings a ringing clarity that seems to expand the already rich tones present. Very bell-like trebs have been my experience. There is nothing, harsh or biting. The story seems to be that this is a very musical amp. It just does notes right and would have helped make the song below easier to hear in the bass.

And now, a song that made me want my 350 then: A Ramble On cover. The first time we ever played the song together.

It is so nice to have the 15" cab here with me. Not playing load at all, but the warmth of the big speaker is pleasing. I have been playing my fretless nylon sting bass alot. I am loving the purrs and growls when sling notes. Most any note on my G string has some purr. When I set the neck I found the right action to give me the sound I was looking for. I am really liking the different tonal qualities only found in a fretless. The tone from the nylon strings, that Mr Nylon uses, has a warmth unique to these kinds of strings. I am working on a bass track for a song I have the guitar and weak vocal to. Might post it if it gets recorded.

Rumble 350 is a great bass amp. This amp has a natural "tuning" for rich bass tone. Not the tone for every kind of music, perhaps, but it works for me. Big time! :D
