The advantage to 2 1X12 cabs, if you go through a PA, one will do. Less weight, and less space, easier to move around. If you do need the two, they may fit into odd spaces. transportation space isn't always right for a bigger cab fitting into small spaces. Also with two you can split them a distance apart, point them in different directions, etc. A little more versatility with the 2 1X12's.

If you ever happen to go back there soon and have the time, you think you can check out the 2x8" cab on it's own, or another one?

Yah...8x12's...oooh! John Entwistle didn't have to move his gear. I wonder how many roadies walked rather than lift that puppy.

The beast of a 4x12 cabinet Fender made with the speakers canted towards each other spoiled me tone wise. It would only fit in a truck or van and was heavy enough to scare away many "helpers" I had.

Neodymium is a rare earth material mined mostly in China. There was some price fixing going on so many speaker manufacturers quit offering these lighter weigh speakers. Now the price has returned to earth so to speak.

I've seen pictures of that cab you have and somebody was selling one at one time. I thought it was an interesting layout.

Yeah, I remember reading something about that whole Neodymium price thing a while back. I don't remember where it was, though.

I Want Some Of These

Two Of Each

I think that should be sufficient.

Two Each: Fender Rumble 350 Bass Amplification Heads

Two Each: Fender Rumble NEO 112 Cabinets

Two Each: Fender Rumble NEO 2X8 Cabinets

One Head Dialed In To The 112's. Full. LOW. Thick. Meaty. Round. Taut. Powerful.

The Other Head Dialed In To The 2X8's. Crazy Tone Hounds. Barking! Low-Mids that make ripples in mugs of beer out in the audience. High-Mids That Cut Through The Mix Like A Pirate's Cutlas! Spank Like A Porn Flick! Girls Dancing And Shaking Their Groove Things! {Clothing Optional}

The Moon's High Tides Nor Her Dark Side Have Nothing On This Rig! Come About, And Prepare For A Broadsides!

Rumbles Rock!

That should work. For some reason I thought of John Entwistle when you decribed that set up, but then again he'd probably have at least ten of those. 8)

:) I pulled the trigger, and ordered a Rumble 350 Head from Sweetwater! :)

Will order Rumble Neo cabs later. No sure which, but am leaning heavily towards a pair of 112's.

Good Stuff Linin, ...The Rumble 350 Head intrigue's me ( as I'm still looking for a back up head) & there's a lot of good stuff out there but I'm currently leaning towards the GK MB Fusion 800 ..however the Rumble 350 head is such a bargain that I might get both ....
Linin let us know your opinion of the Rumble 350 heads after you've put it through the paces... :) I'd like to try one side by side with my 400 watt Headlite as I'm curious to see if it's louder,.....I don't find the Headlite overly loud... who knows maybe I'm starting to go a little deaf from years of loud playing :(
