Which Fender footswitch options are actually available for the Bronco 40?
Only the 1-Button footswitch. 100%  100%  [ 3 ]
Also the 2 and 4-button footswitches -- despite not being mentioned in the manual. 0%  0%  [ 0 ]
There are other footswitch options beyond those mentioned here. 0%  0%  [ 0 ]

I'm looking into the Bronco 40 and was wondering if the user manual for it is entirely accurate regarding footswitches. I understand that I can hook up a "Fender 1-Button Footswitch" into the FTSW port on the back of the amp, but I was wondering if it wouldn't also actually accept a 2-button or 4-button footswitch (which are usually intended for Mustang amps)?

Is this just wishful thinking on my part or is it actually possible? I know the manual doesn't explicitly say this is possible, but I don't think it says that it's impossible either.

It appears the Bronco can switch between two presets only. The one button footswitch is the right one

Hello to you too.

I realize it appears that way, as it's the only option mentioned in the manuals, but I was wondering if anyone has actually tried to use a 2 or 4-button switch. I see no reason why it wouldn't work unless it's specifically engineered not to. Has anyone tried?

There's only a 1 button footswitch available for the Bronco40 & it's show with part number on this manual link Scroll down near the bottom:

Alright, thanks everyone. I was just hoping to maybe find a hack, so to speak, which might see it actually possible to use a 2-button footswitch despite not being specifically ruled out in the manual.
