Hi .any thoughts on whether I will be able to keep up against 2 drummers. 2-3 guitars...jamming in a small to medium sized industrial unit, high ceilings...I don't think they will be really cranked..Stones/blues/jazzy/R&B/Beatles/ T. Hip/Hendrix no metal....my guit player(experienced) says 40 watts is plenty...he probalby will have his Egnater Tweeker 15 watt, not sure about the other guys.....do I need to rent maybe a 100-200 combo maybe

thanks

I own the amp and do well against a drummer, but in anything more I would bring my little mixer and power amp with extra cab to run my line out into. If there is a PA and they are willing to let you have a "boost" through it, that would probably also work fine. This way you get to keep all of the excellent features of the Bronco.

so .......the amp performed well at the beginning....only 1 drummer and 2 guitars...I also play tenor sax...so 1 of the guitarists played bass through my Bronco.......the first 2-3 songs we didn't play too loudly and the amp was great.....volume at level 8-9, gain level 5-6, bass/mid/treb about 3 o'clock, KGB orange bank...seemed clear with good tone, no farting........I put down the sax, picked up my axe......with the 2 guitars now going a bit more 1/2- full tilt, I couldn't really keep up.......fortunately one guy brought an old G. Kruger bass head, 400W, into a 15" speaker cab......that was sweet......totally forgot to try the Bronco through the PA (ID-10T error)..maybe next time

R

Thanks for the up date,.. did you know that KGB is a Gallien Krueger setting .... I like the KGB, Rumble & SWR Redhead settings myself ........... I think the Bronco40 would of done the job if it were run through a PA ......

Awaiting delivery on the Classic Series MIJ Bass VI we've discussed else where. Would this amp do well for it. I'd consider the Bassman for both it and my other guitars but I'm not up for hauling a lot of weight around any longer.

My Ibanez sounds really sweet through the Bronco. A Fender should sound very good also.

How about doubling as a guitar amp....on that Bassman voicing...for example??
