Okay guys....I'm a newbie to the forum, and I'm glad I found it.

So here's the problem: my rumble 100 2x10 just stopped working during a gig one night. It wasnt really at a loud volume. But.....the sad part is I wasn't on bass when it went out. My bassist didn't have his amp with him one night and asked if he could just use mine which was already at the club. Of course i said "Sure....." bad idea. I forgot that he tends to overplay a little and his sense of EQ isn't like mine. So, during our 3rd song it went out.

When i plug it in, no light, no sound, no nothing.........

Any suggestions????? I need my bass amp and I think the Rumble is badass!!

Thanks.......

It appears to have a blown fuse.

I wish it was......I took out the head from the combo and looked at the fuse. about 5 mins ago. The fuse is still active. Unless there is another fuse inside one of the housings that isn't visible(which i'm hoping there is).

could it possibly be a power supply issue?

any other suggestions??

I'd check the fuse with an Ohmmeter if you haven't already. I'm hoping that's it. Sometimes you can't tell by looking. With no lights, yes I'd next look at the power supply.

Unless you really know what you are doing, it might not be a good idea to go poking around in there. Even unplugged caps store voltage.

In full agreement with Dave. Unless you are completely familiar with solid state system repairs, don't go there. Also - GLASS FUSES can vibrate open if the internal fusable element had not been soldered properly at the fuse factory and can LOOK like it's OK even if there is no continuity through the fuse.

There have been some reports on the Rumble 75 and 100 of solder connections breaking under cabinet vibration - let a TECH look it over.
