That was also a very good review you posted, Gary4. As much as people here come and go, I think it is special to have experienced players that own these amps available for those interested to ask questions. It's an invaluable resource.

I have had my Bronco 40 for a week now.
I do like it very much. Great sound both from the speaker and when using
headphones. And a lot of fun stuff with fuse!
It sounds a lot better than the Roland 20xl bass cube.

I have had my Bronco för 3 months now.
Must say I like it a lot!! Great sound from the speaker and not forget
that it sounds good with headphones.
Not many combos sounds good when using headpones.

I use it for practice in my house.

Is this amp that unpopular or is that it comes with no bragging rights.

Maybe it's because it is dependable and problem free.

I see it mentioned from time-to-time elsewhere on the internet. I always direct them here to ask real owners what they think of it. I just did that 5 minutes ago. We'll see if anything comes of it. One happy Bronco 40 owner said that the "Rockin Peg" setting sounded more like an Ampeg than his Ampeg BA-112. Was richer in tone and had more depth and was louder too! Utter blasphemy to the Ampeg faithful.

It is funny that one of the settings I never used on my Bronco was the Rumble setting, and now I have one and love it. My Bronco is to my Rumble as my SCX2 is to my HRDIII, a small powered, flexible easy to transport respectable small amp. There is a small club in town where I used the Bronco and it worked beautifully. Plenty of sound for my need. I have been using the 59 Bassman setting with a modern 2x15 cab option. Warm and surrounding. Perfect for the bluesy setting I was playing in.

Hi, I've got Fender Bronco 40 since a week ago for practice and jamming at home.
I'm using for this hooked by the XLR and Line 6 Sonic Port to iPhone. Garageband app works job very well for it.
Power of this combo is enough for jam with second guitar and Drum Machine from Computer or iPad :-)
I would like to hear Bronco 40 with real drummer. Anyone has recording with it?

Great first post bether, and welcome to the Fender Forums. Unfortunately it is pretty dead around here and only a few old diehards like me are left. Sorry, but I have never recorded with a Bronco 40.

You know, these were the two of some of the people I was thinking about (modwiz and James Coderre) when I mentioned elsewhere that haven't been around that use to be. They've been MIA since 2015, from what I've seen. I guess like anything else in life, thing come and go.

That is two of the regulars that haven't been around.

This amp is really very nice to practice at home with a drum machine.

I really do wish that they came in more sizes like the mustangs do.
