Rumble 75 , I'm happy with it , mostly , there have been times when I thought I should have bought the 150 instead.

I don't Rumble. Although I used to hear once in a while that the amps I like and use were the inspiration for the Rumble series.

I'm an SWR Engineering kinda guy. Pretty much always have been ever since the very first time I played one, which was maybe around 1985 or so.

I hear ya, bluesguy55. I love my Rumble 75. Sounds great for low volume personal practice and can get plenty of low end grunt & growl if you want it. Tons of mid-range punch, and the highs really sing sweetly without the harshness of a piezo tweeter. It just can't quite get the volume needed for a jam with a drummer, but you most certainly can gig with PA support.

But the Rumble 150 Combo is a great all around cost effective unit. The 75 & 150 have identical pre-amp sections and sound very simular until you really need to push the 150 for the high volume then the double wattage and 15" woofer leaves the 75 in the dust. Easier to transport too when you need to move it.

I may just trade it in for a larger amp , or ...... use it up stairs as a practice amp . Thinking about a second Bass guitar too . The 75 , even in my basement jam space ( small ) it's maxed in order to keep up , if the drummer is a hard hitter and there are two guitars in on the fun

This is why I bought the Rumble 350, even though I probably could have gotten away with the 150. It's better to have more power and not need it, then not have enough and have a problem. The thing that sucks is it costs more, but in the long run it's worth it. You will always take a loss when you try to sell gear. I've learned that lesson the hard way. I can't tell you how many impulse things I bought because they were cheap and a seemingly good deal, only to regret it down the line.

By the way, how is that Black Top Jazz? It looks pretty nice.

You are correct , I'll likely keep the 75 it makes a wonderful practice amp , upgrade later .........

The blacktop is nice ! I have nothing to compare it to , it's my first bass . I have a long road ahead , lots to learn . It gets played a couple of times a week , my drums get played daily as do the guitars. I wish I didn't have to go to work ! there are plenty of things I'd rather be doing .

+1
Bass amps aren't like guitar amps where you have to push them into breakup to get the tone you want which makes wattages more important to pay attention to.

When it comes to bass amps, I say go big or go home.
If some is good, more is better.

2¢.

I have a 350 head and love it. I'm old and just use
it at home. Here it is with my Kustom 1-15b loaded
with a JBL D140F. It's sooo nice on the ears,
