I modified 1 bank of amps in my Bronco 40 to work nice with my six string Fenders. A few of the sounds are delightful and would do nicely as a backup amp for gigs and certainly saves me from using my tube amps for practice. The effects and pedals you can add make it much like a pedal board in feature. Try Bassman TV 15 with reverb sure sounds Fender to me. (1st paying gig, 1973. I've heard a few Fenders :). The Monster with Gain cranked, can you say "Marshall Stack"? 8) Just tweak the tones and drive/gains and find good sounds. Working from the computer is a must here for easy maximum adjustments.

My local Long and McQuade got me with August Fender 0% financing, Tax down plus several dollars all I had, (Paid off previous financed Squier Vintage Modified 5 string bass purchase first) Free $32 Fender cable and $25 off the $249 asking. $36 a month 6 months. How could I not try it? Also going to try line out of Bronco into 300 watt Stack I use for bigger gigs. (Plug in earphone to mute speaker inside?) Also going to add a "Speaker Out" sometime as it really should have one. Muting the internal speaker with a switching jack. Once I'm sure it doesn't fail in a few months first. It'll screw the limited 5 year warranty but after a few months at this price ...........

I have gigged a small room with a drummer. We lined it to the PA and added just enough to "widen" the sound not loud in PA. The amp did well on the floor for max bass response but could be on a amp stand angled for monitor appeal.

Seems like a fun package you purchased.
I tried to put it all together to see what you got for $249 - $25 (+) cable.
Did you get an amp head?
Did you get a combo amp?
Did you get a half stack?
Do you use FUSE software with the Bronco?
Long and McQuade ????

And good luck voiding the warranty
Are you going to have a headphone jack?
Well worth it :D

Glad to hear that someone's tried out their Bronco 40 as a guitar amp--was thinking of giving it a try myself. If things work out, then I'll get rid of my little Behringer practice amp I use with my Squier '51. :D

It's indeed a good amp for guitar as well.

I've use it for small open-air gig and another few places in both, guitar and bass and it work out. The monster (Green) is just great by the way it is. Play with the knobs and hace fun. Also the SWR it's great for cleans and with the dycking delay you can get a fair sound, I personally use this when playing indie like The Strokes or for jazz jaming. The rocking give a nice crunck sound. I like that 'cause my humbucker sounds almost like a P-90 and that's very interesting. For a more classical sound, a little more acoustic, I use the (Orange) Bassman Tv: With Tone around half and in the middle position; sounds fair enough for me.

i was wondering if I can download a preset from the Mustang zone and try it in the Bronco. It would be nice to have more effects...
