Does anyone know if the Fuse on the Fender Rumble 150 Bass Amp Head can be user-replaced? I have reason to beleive I've blown the fuse on my unit, and would like to try and repalce it myself, if possible. Any input would be appreaited. Thanks.

Good first post DW, but it's a shame your amp is on the deadline.

Here's a link to the schematic for the Rumble 150 both head & combo.

http://support.fender.com/schematics/bass_amplifiers/Rumble_150_2010_schematic_Rev-B.pdf

I can read a schematic about as well as I can read Chinese which is to say not at all.

Have you popped it open and taken a look around?

What were the circumstances surrounding it's untimely demise?

Hope you find a quick; easy, and cheap fix.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried looking inside the unit and at the schematic, but I cannot find anything that typically looks like a replaceable fuse. I had to replace a fuse on another Amp I have and that was easy. I believe I read a post in one of the forums that the fuse for these Rumble amps may be integrated on the circuit board somewhere. Anyway, I experimenting with different driver (speaker) hookups, and I think I mistakenly made an "illegal" hookup, (Ran an 8 Ohm drive off the parallel output with nothing on the primary output) and either blue the fuse or maybe worse. I found a small burn mark on the base of one of the circuit board internal jacks, and also near what looked like a small ceramic resistor on the circuit board. I tried to glue that small resistor back into place with some conductive wire glue from Radio Shack, but still no sound response from the amp. This is why I want to try and find the fuse and see if maybe I'll be lucky and be able to replace it if it blew out. I had a similar thing happen on that other amp I spoke of and when I replaced the fuse, all was well again. I just need to fin the fuse on this Rumble amp. Anyway, hopefully I'll find out eventually. I ended up buying the Rumble 150 Combo with the 15' driver after I blew the Rumble head out. very pleased with it. I'd like to fix the head if possible, but don't want to spend a lot of $ to do it. Thanks again for the feedback.

Just an FYI, I was able to fix the amp with a new fuse. I had to fabricate my own fix drilling some holes on the circuit board and using some wire and a glass fuse holder soldered in place, but I was able to get it to work!

Yeah, I consider myself lucky that it actually worked. That fuse is not menat to be user-replaceable
