OK - so first of all - THANK YOU! The info I found in this thread made me feel justified in my opinion on the Rumble 350. So many bassists insist that a combo will never be enough and I was overwhelmed with the idea of needing a oversized/overpriced stack to carry around everywhere. I play in a four piece rock/country group and just wanted a nice clean full tone without having to drop $1000 on a rig that wouldn't fit in my car. I used to play guitar and loved being able to throw my Fender Twin in the backseat and go but every bassist I know told me I needed 6 or 8 speakers to get the job done on stage but when I tried the 350 combo at GC I fell in love with the sound and response I could get out of it.
I read up on here and this thread specifically and knew it wasn't just me.

After a few shows with it I ended up playing out of a GK Frontline with a full stack and COULD tell the difference of course, but I've been able to add to 350 by slaving a Peavey TKO 115 to it when playing in larger bars. I DO plan on picking up 150 combo at some point to replace the Peavey as the slave or even a head and separate cab to use in addition to the 350 combo.

Thanks again guys!

I'm glad to be helpful. That's good to know that you like the amp. It is one hell of a deal. I'd like to pick up another one as a back up, or in case if I ever needed the extra thump. It does get pretty loud for a combo, though.

I'm surprised that as many here own the Rumble 350 Combo that no one has yet to write a review for it and rate it on the product info side of Fender.com

I'm a recent Rumble 350 convert from my 800 watt Eden stack. I love the sound & power this combo produces! The EQ section is very responsive to my Alembic bass & I'm able to get a sound I'm extremely happy with! I do have an issue though & wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem. I am on my second Rumble 350 & both of them have a rattle in the amp chasis when I play a high "G" or low "C". I took the first one back thinking it was a fluke & the second one did not have the rattle until I played a gig with it this weekend. Now it has the exact same rattle the first one had. The speakers are fine, very tight & punchy with no rattles, but the amp chasis resonates at a low "C" & high "G" very loudly! I have not had the volume over 2 & have the input pad engaged to compensate for the active electronics in my Alembic, so it's not like I'm playing extremely loud. Has anyone had this issue & if so how did you fix it? I'm not taking the amp back again, I LOVE the amp, but am hoping I can isloate the vibration with some high density foam between the cabinet & chasis.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Are you sure it's not a vibration from the speaker grill? I had a problem with a Marshall MB series combo speaker grill vibrating.

The speaker grill is the first thing I checked & was not the problem. I found & hopefully fixed the problem this morning. It was the cooling fan. The fan is mounted on a rectangular piece of the chasis that is cut on 3 sides & bent up at a 90 degree angle with no braces on it, so it is prone to resonating at certain frequencies. Fender I guess recognized the potential for that & had foam rubber padding glued to the top edge of the sheet metal. When I tapped on the metal, you could hear the rattle & when I put my finger on the fan blade & tapped there was no rattle. So I got a sheet of 1/16" self adheasive high density foam that came with my M Audio Studio Monitors & cut it in strips & covered the metal plate the fan is mounted on on both sides to attenuate the resonance. I also used the same foam & put it on all the surfaces of the chassis where it touches the cabinet, both on the front & back top edges where the mounting screws go in & also on the sides making the chasis fully isolated from the cabinet by a 1/16" layer of foam. After doing this, the rattle is gone! Hopefully it will stay gone! If any Fender techs are reading this, you might want to redesign the fan mount or get a better fan that doesn't resonate. I read a post on Talk Bass where the guy was having the same problen when he played an "A", but I'm guessing the EQ of the bass will play a role in what frequency the fan resonates at. Mine did it on a low "C" & 3rd octave "G"
