I know the rumble 350 speakers wont work once connected to the extended cab but is it worth getting? I will be playing bigger outdoor shows this summer and the 410 + the combo would look cool, if only all 6 speakers could work at the same time.

is it worth the 299$?

It is about more than looks.

Assuming you are talking about the Rumble 350 2x10 combo. You would have to replace the existing 8 Ohm Speakers in the combo with 16 Ohm speakers. That will work but buying a new combo and immediately throwing another $200 at it is of questionable wisdom even if it did not void the warranty, which of course it would.

It might make more sense to get a separate head and cab. Less wasted time and money plus more versatility. Combos from most manufacturers these days will be limiting you to using the internal speakers, unless you do some reworking of the combo speakers. Maximizing the combo output in standalone configuration looks good on the specs, but robs you of the chance to use an extension cab.

The Rumble 350 head is a tiny little thing. If you want a 6x10 arrangement then I'd look for something like the Fender TB 600 since the Rumble 350 is going to be marginally powered to run a 4x10 much less a 6x10. Frankly a 4x10 is more than enough cab for the Rumble 350.

I don't know what store you shop at but here a Rumble 350 2x10 combo is like $500 plus tax. So if you are seeing one for $299 new...wow!

I think he means $299 for the 4x10" cabinet, in which I believe is what they're going for new. There isn't any sort of speaker output jack on it, so he'd also have to take the whole thing apart and rig some sort of jack to it, sans doing anything with the speakers. I doubt it would be worth the hassle. Probably should have got the head and the cab if you wanted a stack. I didn't bother because it was an extra $200 to do that and I like the portability of the combo. Another alternative, which I thought about in case I ever needed to (so far, I don't,) is pick up the Rumble 150 combo and slave it with the 350. You'd basically have a 15" and 2x10" stack and around 500 watts. I imagine that would be quite loud, since the 350 is loud itself. I've heard the 150 is pretty beefy, too. It's real easy to do, just go from your line out from one amp into the input of the other. I've done that in the past and it will work. The 150 is only $50 more than the 4x10" cab, I think. Or you can use any other kind of amp to do that. The choice is yours.

I was explaining a way to make all 6 speakers work, the two in the 350 combo and the 410 cab, which I think he was inquiring about. Yes 4 speakers would move more air, but 6 would move more.

If the PA has the capacity to handle the bass (beefy power, subs, crossovers) then I'd just play the 2x10 and patch out to the PA.

Yeah, I'd do that to, with the PA. It does have a DI out, which I have yet to use. If I moved anymore air, then I think I'd serious test the bounds of my relationship with my girlfriend. Heh. :P Especially, when you open a can of beans. Like they say, the musical fruit...
