You also had the WEM PAs coming into being, which was originally Watkins Music, but I think that was mostly in the UK for that, wasn't it? It was a UK brand.

Yeah, they were widely used over there, from what I've read.

Cream, or The Who at one time I think used them.

Yeah, Pink Floyd, as well. I think I've also seen some Led Zeppelin photos with those on stage, too.

What was the main one for the US back then?

You know Paul I really don't remember. I know there were SRO"s Electro Voice Of The Theatre.

Did JBL have PAs back then, or just made speakers, if even that is the same company.

I don't remember seeing JBL PA's. They may have though.

That's pretty much what they make now, besides home audio type stuff. I don't think they make the speakers anymore that you can buy, like those JBL130 ones from back in the day.

I gave a quick look around a couple of months ago, and didn't see any listings for JBL bass speakers. That's a shame. JBL's were some of the better made, and sounding speakers around.

Anyway,..... I can't complain about the Eminence brand speakers I've had in any cabs, or combos. They do seem to have done a good job on their Neo's. The US Eminence Neo 15" in the Bassman cab perform's well. The cab dimensions are a lot better, than I guess I would've made myself.

Eminence do seem like pretty decent speakers. The ones loaded in my Fender cab sound pretty good, I think.

Eminence is somewhat the way Jensen was loaded into cabs back then.

Jensen is still around, too. I do believe Fender still uses them in some of their guitar amps. They also make bass speakers, as well.
