With the impedance switching, it should work like the Ampeg SVT. Whatever the set impedance number is, it will give full power to the running cabs with that matching impedance.

Nice! Thanks! Someone had mentioned earlier going the 610 route so I could use the Super Bassman. However, I could go with the Super Bassman and the matching 410 and run it at 8ohms. Then if I'm in the rare position of needing to push the extra air, but don't have PA support available I can just throw one of my 115s next to it for support and switch to 4ohms. I'd like to stay away from giant cabs like 610s or 810s. A 410 is just fine. Gives me the option to keep it smaller and less cumbersome when I can and then add more only when I absolutely have to. One of the things I love about having my two Pro 115s. I run my halfstack whenever I can. Saves load in/out time, room in my vehicle, and wear and tear on my back. Impedance switching seems like a very nice innovation!

Yeah, the 410 will work just fine with no problem. Only 50 pounds or so vs the 610's 90 pounds and half the price, but you do have to stoop down to adjust your controls.

Okay, guys. I finally did it. After much thought I decided to go with the 100T and 410 in Blonde/Oxblood. I had contemplated getting the 300, but I have to be honest. Most rooms I play aren't really big enough to need that kind of muscle and while it would be nice to always have the kind of power at my disposal. It's also a double edge sword. I have never liked using pedals, and I prefer natural tube break up to solid state "gain". The 100 will give me the ability to run hot and get that dirty sound when I want it by playing just a hair more aggressively. Any time I need support there should be a PA big enough for me to line out if I need the kind of power the 300 would give me. Where as with the 300 I may run into rooms where I have too much clean head room to be able to push the amp.

As far as the 610, two 15s, or the 410. Simply put. I don't have the real estate in my Jeep to move the 610. It's either too tall or too long. The two 115s which would be my prefered configuration and the one I currently use is not available in the Blonde. The 410 should be more than enough and should I ever want another cab I can always wait for a demo, or used Neo 115 to go on sale somewhere and scoop it up for back up in the rare event I need it. Sucks that it won't match, but if it's a rare use I can just toss it next to the 410 on the side.

I tried to stay local with my business, but my preferred local shop decided to do away with their dealer status. The shop in the next town over is notorious for treating musicians badly and for low balling people on gear. Since they are now the only game for new Fender product in a 3 hour radius they decided that they could afford to low ball me on my trade in and not want to budge much on price. So I will be selling my rig privately and I went with Sam Ash after calling around to all the on line retailers. Ash was willing to beat MF's offer and do the half stack for 1999 out the door tax and shipping included. (shipping was free anyway) Not bad for a 2250+ tax rig.

Hopefully it'll be here by Saturday. I'll let you all know my feelings on it when it gets here.

Thanks... I'm super excited for it to get here. I've missed having a Fender tube head since I sold my old 74 Bassman 100. :D

Awwwww yeah. TOTALLY what I needed. There really is nothing like a full tube rig. So warm, so responsive... so... yummy! CLASSIC P bass tone. Bass the way it's supposed to sound. The 410 comes in at 45lbs. My old school Pro 115s came in at 60lbs... a piece. So I actually get to move air for less than half the weight in cabs. :D

I'm very happy!!!

I think it makes a nice looking rig, too.
