Yeah,........ that too! Things have changed a bit on bass amps in 47 years.

Yeah, it's even better if it has an accordion input jack. That's where the magic happened. :P

I don't know about any others here on the Fender site, but I sure would like to see Fender come up with a Bassman Neo 212 cab. Make the cab with enough width to accommodate a Super Bassman to sit on top. Also high enough to work solo on the floor. I guess about the size of the Bassman 410 Neo. Any hopes?

I wonder how well that would work if you took an old 2x12" Fender cab and put those speakers in it?

If I remember, the older 2X12 Bassman cabs were to sit horizontal on the floor. The speakers weren't staggered in the cab, so they were thin, and the Bassman head sat on it was to long if the cab was vertically. You could use an older cab, as long as the mounting holes on the speaker match up with the cab's mounting bolts.

Or you could make them fit, like I had to with the Celestion 18" in the Carvin cab. :P It was slightly smaller, and didn't quite match up, so I had to "improvise" by screwing into the wood where ever it will go. I suppose you probably wouldn't want to do that with a vintage cab, though.

If they didn't matchup, I'd find a way.
