That would be so loud in this little room. When you're in a fairly small room, You almost hear, or appreciate the higher volumes, and then your ears get accustom to the volume level.

Yeah, I know what you mean about rehearsing in a small room, especially with a powerful amp. When I had really my amp cranked with the 18" one time, I was vibrating the room and you could literally feel the bass, but it was killing my girlfriend who was standing a few feet away in front of it. She couldn't hear her vocals on the PA, so that ended that fun. :P I had to adjust things, and it also helped to get the 10"s, so I can hear myself with some clarity and not bass her out the room.

That sounds so, like I've been in the small room for practice at a friends house.

It's a pretty small room, but we have everything crammed into there. You probably could get a drum set in there, but it would be a tight squeeze, and I might have to rearrange stuff. Necessity is the mother of invention. :P

The room I', talking about, had a full size Pool Table in the middle of it. In a way it spread everyone out a bit. There was just a pool table in the middle of the room. And the pool table took up most of the room.

I'll bet that was a pain to deal with, and those things aren't exactly easy to move around, are they? They're pretty heavy, from what I understand. I never tried to move one.

You don't move a good pool table, Once it's set, and leveled in place, it sits right where it's at. Yes, they are heavy. The better ones had a solid slate under the felt.

But like I said, it was a good separator for keeping everyone a bit of distance from each other. The sounds didn't get as muffled that way in a fairly small room.

True, plus you could get rowdy and jump up the pool table and off doing a perfect split while windmilling your instrument on the way down, never missing a beat. Of course, that's the fantasy in your head and the reality would be a harsh, nasty lesson if attempted. :P Kind of like when my friend would thought it would be cool to spin his guitar around his back, so naturally it went flying off him and splitting the neck on the patio (we were jamming outside the drummer's house at the time.)

Yeah, not the wisest move on his part. He totally agrees. I guess he got caught up in the moment. :P

That's ok as long as you don't have a Marshall Stack, and a Gibson SG Custom.
