Hello All,

I just got my brand new Bronco 40 yesterday (Saturday, November 5, 2011), and while I was happy with the basics of the amp, I was extremely annoyed to find that none of the 'effects' would function. I followed all the directions, and got nothing out of the unit. Then, when I read about the 'master reset' function (start the amp with the 'Exit' button depressed), I thought I'd give that a try. As it happens, that appears to have fixed everything. Good news! I would respectfully suggest to new Bronco owners that if they are having problems, try the reset. And to Fender, I would STRONGLY suggest that you put into your Bronco owners manual that the first thing a new owner should do is to perform that reset, before going on to anything else. It might save them from being frustrated for hours, as I was yesterday, and may result in fewer warranty calls for you or your associated dealers.

Your suggestion has definitely been noted, Curt. I'm sure you'll really enjoy the Bronco 40.
