Can anyone advise type/model of transformer used in Rumble 15 Bass amplifier ?
I have schematics but this only shows Fender part numbers against xfmr type (which differ by input voltage).
I've contacted Consumer Relations but they advise they do not sell this part and directed me to Service Centre index for US/Canada.
Might cost a bit to send a 15W Practice amp overseas for repair !!!

What country are you located in? Might be considerably cheaper & easier just to look for a 2nd hand Rumble 15 on Ebay or some other site for 2nd hand gear.
If you are not in th USA, would definitely be simpler to pick up one second hand I would think. You could also check out after market amplifier parts suppliers in you area - I'm sure someone would be able to come up with something suitable. Try a search on Google too.
cheers.

Cheers,
I'm in UK, been all over Internet, but the trouble is that original XFMR has no label or markings on it to verify ratings and locate an alternative and through contact with Fender they're reluctant to pass on any more info or advise on suitable replacement. Thought it would be easy to fault find and replace part but as you suggest it's probably easier to buy my son another practice amp !

Here is just one of many possibilities for you for price comparison... but they do not ship outside the US...

You can search the list of UK Fender Dealers in this link below. This may also help you find something suitable without paying for international shipping charges -

Hi again, it would be a shame & very disappointing if you could not get your Rumble 15 up & running again - I also have a Rumble 15 and would be extremely annoyed if it had a problem which prevented it from being used again!!
What do Fender UK have to say on the issue? Is your amp still under warranty or not? Surely one of their dealers in the UK should be able to help you with the repair or least point you in the right direction. Maybe you have some good amp repair guys in your area you could perhaps be referred to by one of these dealers.
I guess too any possible repair solution has got to be weighed up & considered economically even if you do find someone who can help you - hence my suggestion to look around for a 2nd hand amp.
Good luck though & I'll watch the outcome of your problem with interest as I'm in Australia & would probably be in a worse situation in terms of support from Fender if something went amiss with one of my Fender amps - fingers crossed!!
