I have a 100 watt fender rumble but I didn't buy it from the factory so I don't have the factory warranty. I use it and move it around often, taking it to practice and shows outdoors, and now I'm having a volume problem that has never occured before.
The volume now is about half as loud than it's supposed to be. I've read that it could be a problem with the piezo horn and I noticed that the input jack is cracked.
After opening up the back of the amplifier and trying to fix the input jack the voume came back to normal temporarily but then lowered after a couple hours of use.
Does anyone know what the problem could be? Please help!

A horn is either blown or not and do not come and go so this is probably a jack issue. These amps use the plastic jacks that solder directly to the circuit board. This is the least reliable type of jack. Keep the retaining nut on the outside tight. Resolder the jack connection points to the circuit board. If it still doesn't work after that, the jack maybe worn out and needs to be replaced. If you can't get an original jack, consider replacing with a Switchcraft jack and running wires to the circuit board.

If it isn't the jack causing it, it might be another bad solder joint, sometimes called a cold solder joint. could be anywhere so you really have to check every soldered connection.
