Berry Oakley and Lamar Williams both used this amp that is posted on eBay! It is item number 160571997670 and there is a lot of Allman Brothers Band history in the item description and some interesting never before seen photos. Neat amp! Anyone know much about this amp? Power, weight, etc?

Birthday was like any other day in my crazy life. Worked straight job 6 AM till 6 PM then went to band photo shoot at 6:30, then had band rehearsal till about 9:30. Off today, sorta gonna enjoy it and have dinner out instead of from a bag or a box. Place called Pancho Villa's nearby has pretty good Tex-Mex and margaritas!

That's weird. Wonder if they were mislabeled?

The Fender 9120 nylon set will definitely fit. Gauge is 58-72-92-110 which feels light on top and plays pretty easy. The feel takes a little getting used to. They seem to last a long time. Most nylons are fatter. On a stock Fender Bass his extra fatness usually requires the nut slots be expanded else you might break the nut, usually breaks from the e string to the top edge of the nut. I have seen that happen on two instruments. Another problem with too small nut slots is you will find that the tuning is unstable as the strings bind in the nut. So watch out for that. You can use just any file either, so you might need to take it to a tech or luthier with the correct tools to get the nut slots sized correctly for the fatter strings.
