The light has gone out on my power switch on my Bassman 250 head. Anybody know how to change one of those?

Thanks!

If your B-250 head is less than 10 years old, the pilot light is part of the switch. The entire power switch would have to be (carefully) replaced using an original Fender replacement part. Contact them for pricing or have your local Fender dealer get one for you. If you have done electrical repairs in the past, you should be able to change it out yourself. UNPLUG THE HEAD from the wall outlet first!!

If you are not familiar with electrical repairs, have an authorized Fender service center do it for you.

Thanks for the info - I have no problem doing the electronic work now, how would I go about finding a part number and ordering it from Fender?

Thanks Again!

You also have a "Guitar Center" in Scottsdale - very close to you...

There are two possible switches for the Fender Bassman 250. One of for 120V (probably
what you have); the other is for 230V.

1 0064049000 **SWITCH ROCKER DPST NEON RED 120V 100-120V ONLY
- 0064050000 **SWITCH ROCKER DPST NEON RED 230V 220-240V ONLY
