Had mine for a month...I was at rehearsal...was going at it for about 2 hours...took a break...turned amp off...came back...turned amp on and the sound was distorted...I took it back to my dealer and found out it was a blown speaker...I asked what causes this at such an "early" age. because you cant turn these things up past 4 or crap starts falling off the walls. And he didnt have an answer... I am still waiting for it to be repaired, been waiting since oct 11th. I dont know if the speakerrs are on backorder or what..but Im starting to get a little frustrated. I hope the "new" speaker doesnt do the same thing in a month!!!

Similar situation for me several years ago in a Rumble 100. Since it was out of warranty, I simply replaced the bad speaker with the same diameter, power rating and impedance as supplied by Eminance - the supplier to Fender for the Bassman series in recent years. These speakers can be ordered through any Fender Servicing Dealer or use the second link below for their dealer network.

Brand new? Return it. Demand a new one. Not a repair on the bad one.

after 2 months I finallt got my amp back!!!
I made MANY MANY calls to both my dealer and Fender!!
SCOTT at customer serivice got the ball rolling last week!!!!
There is a back order on speakers. I made Scott find a speaker from an amp that had no speaker damage and OVERNIGHT it to my dealer....
It should not have taken 2 months... This should hav e been resolved on week 1,,,
But my amp is safe and sound at home now!!!
