I have played a ton of gigs over many years on many different rigs all over the world. Recently picked up a Rumble 350 to use as a rehearsal room amp - figured what the heck maybe I will pick up this 'cheap' amp, it must be 'ok enough' to get me through practices..so I figured I would borrow one from my local dealer for a practice to see if it would work...

at this same time I had been going through a series of stage rigs trying to get the right fit for the music and venues we were playing.

None of the guys I play with are gearheads and didn't recognize some of the Markbass, Mesa type brands I had been going through.

After first practice with the borrowed Rumble 350 the band asked me to just 'step up, pay the extra money and buy the Fender' HA! They were surprised to hear it was 1/3rd of the other rigs retail....needless to say I bought it, that was a few months ago and I am very happy!

It is delivering in spades night after night. Only complaint is that the plastic covering rips if anyone in the club sneezes at it...

SO how about a 500w 2x12 Rumble 500....or its 350@8ohm into the 2x12 combo with a 2x12 ext cab available to drop it to 4ohm and get the full 500..

OR a Rumble 500 head but with 12inch cabs as an option...not just the same old mixed driver 2x1o/1x15 set up....;)

LOVE THE RUMBLE - ANOTHER HOME-RUN IMHO!!

I agree about the larger Rumbles being honest to goodness values. I played the 350 with the 2x10 speakers and the tone was very satisfying. That one really sounded excellent and could easily be badged as a Bassman. The only downside is that at 65 pounds it was too heavy to be this old man's rehearsal combo.

it is a tad heavy but I find the handles and casters make it a breeze. I HAD intended to drop it off at the rehearsal studio and never move it again (so the wieght wasn't a real factor for me) however it turned out so good I am hauling it around from show to show....not nearly the breeze that the 36lb 1x15 Markbass combo was....BUT I find it easier to move than the single handled Markbass Walkabout scout combo I had....in particular any distance greater than 100 feet...:)

I've had my Rumble 350 for a few months now as well. It took forever to get it after I ordered it but it was worth the wait.

For the price it has nice features, tone, and power. And I'm actually happy with the weight. My old amp (same setup 2x10 combo 350 watts) was a 90 pound pig.
