Had a first run Rumble 100 a couple of years ago. It was an ok amp. I had no problems or real complaints. I "upgraded" to a Line6 LD 300 pro. Recently, I joined a band & we've been gigging a lot & the Line6 isn't pleasing me like I think it should be (considering what I paid for it). My bass guy at my local shop has raised my interest in the new rumble 350. Played it today & it seems solid. Great amp. My problem is, I have this idea in my head that the rumble line is a "beginner" line & I'm well past the beginner stage. I think this is simply because Fender made the higher end Bassman line as well. What do you guys think. Are the rumbles able to compete with the big boys?

OK. Well, can someone tell me this? Where are they built/made? I assume it isn't USA. Give me a hand here.

There's a label on the backplate of my Rumble 15 says it was made in Korea in April of this year.

The speakers on a bass amp are more heavy duty to handle the bottom end.
You will blow the speakers on a guitar amp with a bass.

This is absolutely true. I had a great discussion with Retroverbial about this for fun. Yeah never plug a Bass into a Guitar Amp.

Anyway, my best friend's first amp was a Fender, but I can't remember what series. Now he has an 100 Watt Bass Amp from the Fender Rumble series and it sounds great. For extras, it even has a red light at the bottom of it.

Hey you can use a guitar amp without any problems just common sense I think that Carol Kaye uses a super reverb 4 10 as a session player, if your not familiar she played many of the bass tracks for the Beach Boys and used the guitar amp, you can blow anything up if you push it to hard, if it's starting to distort you are getting close to saying good bye to your rig.
