Amp was working fine. Went to play today and no sound at all is coming out. All lights are still working but absolutely no sound. Plugged in headphones and am getting nothing out there. Plugged mp3 into cd in still no noise. It sounds completely dead. Any ideas

I don't remember, does that Rumble have a mute on it? If it does it may be something in that circuit. I don' think you have any fuses or reset switches to deal with. I had an Acoustic 200 that lost a bridge rectifier. Worked fine, shut it down one day. The next day no sound.

I know I didn't have a clue when the Acoustic went dead on me, until I brought it to the shop. That Acoustic wasn't very old when that happened.

The "Active/Passive Select Switch" located next to the volume control has a history of contacts becoming corroded and since that switch is not normally used much, if it is bumped, it can produce the symptom that you are mentioning. Try cycling that pushbutton switch about 10 times and leave in in the 'out' position for testing.

Keep us posted...
