It's time to get my own bass amp. For the last 12 years or so, I have played at my church. I've always used their amp, so I've never had a need or reason to go get one of my own. If I've needed one, I'd always go borrow someones amp.

I am thinking about buying a Fender Rumble 15 V2, mostly for the price. Is this a decent amp to get, not only for practicing, but for performance as well.

Thanks,
Jonathan

I was thinking of this for a practice amp, too, so I also would like to ask others opinions as well.
To the OP, although I don't (yet) have this amp, I wouldn't hesitate to say I doubt very much this amp would be suitable for playing live. Way too small. You need at least a 50-75 watt amp, a 100 watt amp would be even better. !5 watts just ain't gonna cut it.

I totally agree with Bathead. Live playing, 100 watts and up is a good minimum. 75 Watts for live bass is pushing it to much.

Got one coming this morning ((on the UPS truck right now), and I was wondering, what is the difference between the V2 and the V1? (I'm assuming that V2 stands for "Version2")

I would guess so as well. Best of luck with the new amp. Love folks getting new gear.
