There is a lot of information on speakon cables. Much of what I have read has to do with speakon cables from scratch ( the actual wiring and soldering, what posts to use, etc. ) .

My amp : Ampeg B2r, brand new ( has one speakon input) in back.
cabs : (2) Ampeg 15" 8 ohms each.

I am using a monster cable (10 ft. ) which is a speakon input and a 1/4" . The speak on input is : Neutrik NL2FC.

Both of the new 15" Ampeg B Series Cabs do not have speakon inputs, so I have gone from the amp (speakon input) to cab#1 and then cab#2 to Cab#1. It all works with no problems and it sounds great.

Question # 1 : Can I assume that my set up is right and no internal adjustments are needed?
#2 : My other cabs have speakon inputs (Ampeg 410HLF) and my bass heads (all Ampeg have speakon inputs) I have the speakon input to input cables...Ok to use them>?????? with out any wiring on my end???

I have the FenderTb1200 running into a Fender810Pro and I AM USING THE fENDER SPEAKON CABLE INCLUDED...I have no plans of adding at this time........By the way Fender stuff really is of better quality than Ampeg...... :!: :!: ...............Thanks for reading this post and contribute waht you know about speakons in general this way others could be helped as well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 8)

I like the speakon cable jacks because they lock in and you can disconnect cable while on, disengages circuit to prevent pop or blowing speakers, not that I would recommend, disconnecting cable while gear is on.

I'm also recommend using the speakon cable jacks at any devices (if applicable) due it's flexibility.

And about your question #2; I can suggest that you just try and if isn't work correctly which I think it should be, just post again since I has friend that got experience about Speakon Cable.
