It's described that way in the manuals for both the Bassman 250/115 and a Bassman 150. I would say that it's correct.

Is it just me or a lot of manufacturer instructions confuse the daylights out of the common consumer(s ) :lol: I get confused so I always set it up the way the shop shows me.
