Took a bass in to have the neck adjusted. Saw the free T-Shirt deal they are running now for test driving a Fender amp. Soooo. When I tried out the bass setup on the nearest Fender bass amp. It was a Rumble 2x10. Wow I was mighty impressed. I've not had a Fender bass amp in decades! I really liked this Rumble. Sort of a thick sound at first but someone had the bass cranked to wide open. Really good sound. Could only get it up to about 9 o'clock and it was way loud then and had to back it down. People in the store were glaring at me. LOL. Anyway, this is a really good sounding combo. Would be excellent for rehearsals (actually better than what I'm using now only way heavier) and might be passable for gigging indoors at small to medium sized clubs. Larger if you went to PA. All in all a good value.

i have one of each...a 100/115 and a 100/210. i play a deluxe active jazz. the main difference i have seen is the 115 is a little more bottom centered, while the 210 is a little crisper. the tone is solid and punchy, just watch out how much you try to pump though it since it will distort quite unmusically if driven too hard. in my experience the use of an inline compressor (i.e. mxr dyna-comp) will go a long way to evening out the performance of these amps, improving headroom and sustain while minimizing the need to overdrive the amp. i chose these amps for portability. my previous rig was a hartke 3500 with a 410 cab and a 115 cab. downsizing to the rumble series required a "learning curve" and some adjustment of expectations, but with patience and some tweaking i have been able to replicate what i need to hear on stage and let the direct out carry my sound to the front of house without busting my back carrying tons of gear.
