I don’t have a Fender amp, just use a rack w/rack gear, but my cabs are two Fender Pro 410s, which are awesome. I got them for a decent price as they were being discontinued for some reason.

I power them with a QSC GX5.

i have an old bassman 10 that i put together from pieces and a bandmaster head cab.

it works well and i am presently rebuilding an old blonde Bassman 212 cabinet (pictured as i got it) with 2 G12T-75 speakers

i gave up on trying to find a 15" tone ring cab and recieved some plans on building a reproduction in the mail today. i have an idea of how to construct a 15" tone ring mount for it. then i will have a vintage full stack = not exactly original but useful as this is a players rig.

I have a rumble 100/115 that I like really well except for the stupid red light that they could have kept off and put money on other parts of amp but it really sounds good for only 100w and is easy to move!! :)

I have:

a Bassman 25

a B-DEC 30 (the only one in this list currently in production)

a Bassman 200 combo

a Bassman 400 combo

an older Fender 410 cab

and a Bassman 600 head - or was it an 800..?

Anyway, I am prepared for most any situation!

I have recently purchased the TB1200 and while it was being delivered I decided to get the 810ProCabinet which should match up with the amp. This should be enough for now. I do have the matching Ampeg 4pro and 810E cab. I thought of running the Fender through the Ampeg cabs but decided to keep it all Fender. Today I did test the amp through an Ampeg 410HL but at a low volume. I'll post more whem I get the Fender Cabinet.

I posted that I took delivery of the TB1200 and that I tested it through an Ampeg 410. It sounded great, I did hear a slight static crackle which was most likly from the speakers. I did purchase an extra warantee which I hope I don't have to use. Its registered with Fender and by next week I'll run it again through the Full 810Pro Cabinet. This will be a real test and it should go ok . I like the amp already and wont sent it back no matter what. I have mostly new ampeg stuff but when I bought the Fender amp I knew the best thing to do was to match it up with the correct Fender Cab.....

I'm currently using a Rumble 100 2-10 on top of an ancient peavey TNT 100 (15"). It works ok, but I've been playing between 2 Marshall 100w 1/2 stacks so I've had to push it harder than I'd like.

On the plus side, the Rumble is a pretty good amp for the $$$ and you can get a good tone with a bit of expirmentation. I have recorded with it using the line out and it makes it nice to be able to run into the board live. I use a compressor(which definitely helps & I recommend live) running thru the FX loop. I haven't tried using a pre-amp with it, but it might be worth trying out.

For the minuses, It would sound better I believe if they had used plywood instead of particle board. I agree, the red "$@!&#" house light is cheesy and makes it appear to be less desirable than it actually is. It could use a speaker upgrade and I put fold-out handles on the sides, changes I see Fender has made on the new Rumble.

Actually it shines best as a practice amp, you can turn it up a bit if you wanna feel the "thump" playing with CD's, etc.

Nice pictures. I never saw a Fender Rumble100 head. The Bassman 300 going into the Ampeg is more like it. I have been running my Tb1200 into a Ampeg610 cab and its killer. The 300 I know can do a whole lot as well. I bought an expensive Fender cab the 215pro and like the 810Pro its bulit so much better than the Ampeg line. currently I am running the 300 with the 810pro and the 215 at 2 OHMS. The Bassman is so easy to run and it adapts real easy. The Ampeg 810E seems to sound better(bottom wize) and I might move it over and run the 300 and hear how it sounds. But for now I am busy with other things. Have a nice day! 8)

Thats not a Rumble head ... it's a Bassman 1200 pro ..... the Ampeg cabinet has had the top 4 speakers changed out to Jensens Mods ... it gives the cabinet a little more sparkle with out a horn, it makes it sound more like the 1970's 8x10's but hey looks are deceiving !!!!!!

I managed to find a Bassman 135 (circa 1983) head on EBay since my original post back in July 07. Then I had even better luck -- the amp guy who put the head back in shape had a Fender 2 X 15 cab with reconed Utah speakers. Sweet deal - he only charged $400 for the cab since he didn't at first realize they were recones.

The deep boom of that reminds me of playing back in the 70s (club jazz) and is a nice contrast to the much more modern sounding 250/210 that I still have. Now I have a rig for about any purpose conceivable.

Just having acquired a bass, I don't have a real "bass amp" yet.

I do have a 1970's Traynor Group 1 VC head with a 2 * 15 cab I am going to try to revive.
It's been sitting in damp basements for decades :? time may not have been good to it.
See what happens. :)
Old cones may shred into confetti if the head actually powers up.

I've been looking for another bass amp. I already have a Mesa/Boogie Walkabout Scout 1x15, but it's a lot to haul down to my friend's house where we practice (he has a 4-car garage sized space to set up in), so I've been looking for an amplifier I could leave there. Monday I went by the local music store and found a Bassman 400 210 that had just come in on a trade. I took a Precision off the wall and plugged it in, and liked what I heard.

I went home and researched on the internet to see whether it was a dog -- seems like several blown speakers were reported in the Harmony Central reviews -- but I don't play that loudly, and I don't mistreat my gear, so I figured it'd be OK.

I went back this morning and picked it up for $400. It's heavier than I wanted (in fact, 24 lb heavier than the M/B) but that doesn't matter since it will stay in one spot. And it has wheels, so my friend will be able to move it out of the way when he has other things going on in the room.

It's impossible to find a worthwhile bass amp for under $6-700, so I'm happy with this one. This is the first Fender bass amp I've owned, although I have four Fender guitar amps -- my previous bass rigs have been Ampeg, Hartke, and the Mesa/Boogie.

I hope to hang on to it for a while.
