I've read the chassis alone weighed about as much as a Twin Reverb. 435 watts of tube power when you run 3 of those cabs. Nice for those intimate coffee house gigs.

They went through some weird $@! design stages. The head on the roller stand I'm ok with, but the Star Trek wedged speakers crack me up.

Was the pack mule an extra cost option?

Not the head. It was very compact. My friend offered to take it with him. I got distracted by a playboy waitress. I had traded the reflex cab for a Peavey 2x15 a year before. I used my friends SVT bottom that night.

My original cab was a 18" reflex cab, that looked different than the Fender but was the same principle. The sound wave thrown by them really didn't form for some fett off the stage. At least the stages I was on. As a player I had no real idea of what my sound was to the audience. I traded it to a gut who had two peavey 2x15" cabs. by having one of each he had a nice setup. I still have the peavey cab. Only one of the original EV's in it though.

Paul what were those called? Bassman 400's???

I actually saw one of those 'in the flesh' at Jacob's Music on Broad Street in Richmond, Virginia. 1972 I think. Is that the right year for those? Man! An 18" woofer in a double folded horn enclosure if I remember correctly. Never heard one live. They wouldn't let you plug in unless you were a serious buyer.

Thanks for posting the image. :)

I just looked at the new Super Bassman

Amplifier Length: 13.5" (34.3 cm)
Amplifier Width: 24.5" (62.2 cm)
Amplifier Height: 10" (25.4 cm)
Amplifier Weight: 65 lbs. (29.48 kg) I believe this is the weight of a Twin Reverb.

Bassman 100T
Amplifier Length: 10.63" (27 cm)
Amplifier Width: 24.5" (62.2 cm)
Amplifier Height: 10" (25.4 cm)
Amplifier Weight: 48.5 lbs. (22 kg)

Yeah, I was about to post the same link when I noticed you did. It also had a channel for guitar. I can only imagine what a Strat would sound like with 435 watts cranked. Ouch!

I'm not too sure I'd want to be in the same county.

Right now, a Rumble 15. Later on, I'd like to get a 75 as well.

The amp is pretty much the same as the 350 combo minus the horn switch. Really sweet sounding for solid state and the fan is (so far) whisper quiet. Can't turn it up past 2.5 right now (neighbors.) I love being able to blend the gain should I need it. But I play mostly 60's 70's and don't see the gain getting too much use. Love the XLR line out. If you need it, it does have headphone out and CD in.

The cab is an awesome deal for the price. Sure the new Pro 4x10 neo's would be better, but can't go for that price tag right now. And there is plenty of "roundness" to this 4x10. It's also a nice match sonically with my '69 SF Bassman. 4 ohm which matches the '69 perfectly.

I'm a happy camper :D

I just changed over to the Rumble 150 combo. Fantastic amp with tons of power and amazing tone! With the XLR line out there is no need for a bigger amp IMO!
ABS :D

I have a Fender Bassman 400 running through a Bassman 115 as my main rig.
