I received my Fender LT25 in the post and it came with a 2-pin power cable which is not suitable. It’s a 16A/250V adapter, not fused, and I need to know what cable I need to replace it with. I have a 10A/250V 3-pin UK power cable but am reluctant to plug it in until I know it won’t blow something up.

For a 25 watts output amp, a 10 A cable will work.
A power cable can't damage a amp. Never.

I was more worried about the fuse blowing and causing something in the amp to blow (I’ve read so many scary stories whilst looking for an answer online, ugh) because I just bought the thing and it’s my first new amp ever!

Thank you for the clarification!

Power cable have nothing to do with blowing a fuse in the amp.
A power cable can't damage a amp nor blow a fuse.

You may not have read the opposite online, although there is a lot of wrong information from people who don't know it.

You pay for a amp with cable, why don't you ask for a cable to the store where you bought the amp ?
I repeat ; your cable will do the job safely.

By the way; If yo live in UK, I'm going to London, march 20 for 10 days
