Yeah, I looked at it again, as well, and it looks like that. I also went over to AMS for the Epiphone basses that are no longer listed on the Epiphone site, and they're business as usual with those, like they were still churning them out. Who knows what's up with that?

Sweetwater is showing EB-3, and EB-0 either in stock, or more on the way for stock. I don't get it either. Like I keep saying, I have my Superfine EB-0

I guess that's the most important thing. You already got a good one. I suppose if it shits the bed, then you'd have to cross that bridge when you got there, if there aren't anymore, which probably won't be the case, anyway. There's always used ones.

It is odd how they still show availability, but not on their own site. I don't even think Gibson does that. Well maybe.

I don't know. I guess within the next year, we'd probably find out for sure. Sometimes, it takes a bit of time for all of that to sort out.

True,.......... Epiphone probably wants to avoid getting their basses that sell, with Gibsons that hang on walls well in the same shops. Image Gibson basses do make wonderful wall ornaments.

It's kind of sad that they would just hang around like that. I know they aren't cheap, but certainly the same price range as most US Fenders, and Warwicks, which do seem to move a lot. Music Mans, as well.

The Gibson Thunderbirds are way out of price. Like $2,400. Buckeroos. The SG Std.'s are a bit more reasonable @ $1,499. If I could still swing an SG Std., I'd really have to think that one over. The Epiphone EB-0 for me is a better feeling player. The little bit of difference in the nut size between the two, makes it for the Epi EB-0. And for what ever reason, the Epi doesn't pitch forward, tilting away from my body, when it hangs on my neck. Both have some "Neck Dive Of Death", so what else is new. HAHA!

They also have that one bass that's an old school, pre-SG shaped EB-0 bass for $999.99. AMS has them knocked down in price for $649.99 on closeout. They didn't seem to have carried them that long, maybe a year, or however long from now and when they first came out on the market. That bass would also make a cool Epiphone version, too. I can see why you'd call it the "neck dive of death," since I've heard of Gibson getting their headstocks busted off.

They really don't give a product much time to sell itself anymore before they call it quits on it. I think you're referring to the Gibson LP Jr. bass. It doesn't even come with a case. Even when it was $999.99.

Yeah, that's the bass. It was the original version of an EB-0, but they always have a different name and description with their newer basses, even with when they are just more or less reissued the older models. I guess it's all a matter of pushing the numbers when it comes to sales. I guess retail space is valuable, as well, where the stuff has to be stored.

They just have it too high priced. The Gibson gig bags make a Fender bags look like a $300. hard shell case.
I think the reason the Epi EB-0 doesn't pitch forward, is the front strap button is a bit higher set on the back of the body. Attached to the top right neck body screw. Image

Gibson bags are worse than the Fender ones? Wow, that's pretty sad, if Fender still has the bags like they did back in 2007, when I got one with a MIM Precision. That bag's zippers completely crumbled on them after I had them for awhile. It was really weird. The bag itself seemed sturdy, though, but useless after that.

That's a good location for that button, I think.

The Fender bags I've used worked out well. It's a very workable idea to set the knob there. One inch higher on the Epi EB-0, is better than both the Epi EB-3, and the Gibson SG Std. I like the neck being a bolt on was well.

You know, it might have just been a cheaper bag that came with the Standard Precision I got, since usually those don't come with anything, and they threw those in as some sort of "deal" to think you're getting something extra. It could have also been the way the climate gets around here, between hot and humid, and cold and dry, but I've never had that issue with any other zippers.

That seems to be an ideal spot for balance, then. You prefer bolt on necks over set or neck thru?
