Today I decided I was going to dig deeper into the pitch shift effect on the Studio 40 in conjunction with the expression pedal.

So, the first thing I noticed is that under the default settings it goes all the way down two full octaves in the heel position. It's almost inaudible when fully cocked.
No problem I think, just set the heel position to 5.5. If only there was a 5.55 setting, then it would work perfectly!
Well no, that doesn't work, because at 5.5 it's still down-tuned 26 cents.

If you were to be using this in a live environment as a Whammy, you'd need to turn it on just long enough to Whammy & then disengage it, unless you wanted to tune your instrument sharp by 26 cents.

For a few seconds I thought I could remedy this by manually setting the pitch-shift to zero with the pedal fully cocked, but as soon as you move it & come back it's -26 again.

I was hoping to get in contact with Fender about this, so that maybe it can be addressed in a future update.
As it is, you can't easily have a zero position with the expression pedal engaged.
