He definitely had his own agenda for life. His own little world!

Jim was definitely colorful, to say the least. He did however pale as compared to Keith Moon.

When Keith said, "rather saucy", that was going to be an event. Much to my excitement at the meeting with Keith, when I asked him just in a regular conversation, how's it going, how do you feel? And his reply was so special. "I feel rather saucy!" I damn near wanted to yell to the world, ALRIGHT!!! It was so damn cool coming direct from him. He was so known for that statements and I was able to hear him say it!

That's very cool. It's a shame that he left us so soon, but I suppose the way he was, that was probably bound to happen.

He was the perfect example of a self-destructive personality. Keith's demise as it was, was inevitable. Jim Morison's was pretty much the same, I would guess.

There's always been rumors that Jim Morrison didn't die, and faked his death . Do you believe that? I can see why they'd think so, since the way it was dealt with, no autopsy and all of that. Maybe he's just hanging out in the Caribbean somewhere. Back then, that wouldn't have been hard to do, especially if you have money, which I'm sure he did.

It's possible of course, but I really don't think so. He pushed himself way harder than most did back then. A body can only take so much.

Yeah, I guess he did drink like a fish. Did you ever meet them, or see The Doors live?

No, I never did meet Jim, but I was in line to do an audition to play bass with them, when the Miami concert went so wrong,

That's cool. 8) I take it that never happened then, because of that?

That really put the wrench in a few things there.

Yeah, that was some serious crap that when down. I've heard the recordings of that concert, where he went off on the audience. There are a bunch of live Doors recordings on YouTube, and even they've released a lot of live Doors material on The Doors Spotify page, which I'm assuming is official, since it probably wouldn't be there if it weren't. Apparently, there's a lot of material with them. I think the most bootlegged band was Led Zeppelin, though. I've read that somewhere, but I don't know if that was the case. There is a lot of Led Zeppelin recordings out there, including a couple of filmed concerts, though. I've posted those recently on here.
