I know next to nothing about vacuum tubes.

My Super Bassman 300 has one orange light on the automatic bias display. "2A." The manual says, "LED is orange: The tube is wearing out and should be replaced with a new tube with the same tube rating." Does this mean I can replace just that one tube?

Being a matched set, I would have thought all six output tubes had to be replaced.

A six output power tubes amp !!! 6 X 6550

Looking at the schematic, I see one led for two 6550 tubes. We can't say witch tube is bad.
Best is to replace both by a matched pair.
I'll go for JJ's or TungSol.

You can flip one tube with another one , on another pair, to find wich one is bad and wich one is good.
And keep the good one as spair tube
